In the last day, the Valencian Community has registered 1,529 cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or by antigen test, which puts the total number of positive people at 60,125. fourteen people have died for Covid in the last 24 hours, making a total of 1,815 deaths: 264 in the province of Castellón, 625 in Alicante and 926 in Valencia. In addition, 57 new outbreaks have been reported in the region.
By province, of the 1,529 new positives, 161 have been detected in Castellón; 642 in Alicante and 726 in the province of Valencia. This way, the pandemic raises the total number of affected people to 60,125: 6,345 in total in Castellón; 20,878 in Alicante and 32,900 in Valencia. Two cases have also been reassigned to the province of Valencia, bringing the total number of unassigned patients to two.
Since the last update, 856 discharges of patients with coronavirus have been recorded, bringing the total number of people cured since the start of the pandemic to 57,199: 6,483 in Castellón, 19,241 in Alicante and 31,434 in Valencia. In addition, the total number of unassigned discharges is 41.
There are currently 11,125 active cases, which is 15.86% of the total number of positive cases. Valencian hospitals currently have 1,112 people admitted: 105 in the province of Castellón, with 16 patients in ICU; 371 in the province of Alicante, 70 of them in ICU; and 636 in the province of Valencia, 77 of them in ICU.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of coronavirus amounts to 1,372,022, of which 1,215,587 have been through PCR and 156,435 through rapid test.
The Community currently has 49 positive cases in nursing homes (five in the province of Castellón, 15 in the province of Alicante and 29 in the province of Valencia) and eight centres of functional diversity (two in the province of Castellón, two in the province of Alicante and four in the province of Valencia).
In the last 24 hours, 21 new positive residents and 12 workers have been detected while a user of one of the centres has died. Seven residences in the Valencia Region are under active health control surveillance: one in the province of Castellón, another in the province of Alicante and five in the province of Valencia.
