200 pupils from the 3, 4 and 5 year old classrooms of the Santa Maria del Carmelita de Las Carmelitas of Elda (Alicante) are confined by an outbreak of Covid-19 “with high transmission” detected in the center, as confirmed by knowledgeable sources.
The Conselleria de Sanitat, for its part, explains, in a statement, that there has been an outbreak with “a high transmission” that, according to initial reports of Public Health, has been due to one of the professionals who was infected with coronavirus taught classes in different classrooms of the center, so the contagion has affected several groups.
Also, Public Health stresses that, as in any other case of outbreaks with a high number of contagions, will sequence the virus to obtain more information.
