Tavernes suppresses the holiday of March 18 to not celebrate the Fallas

The Tavernes de la Valldigna Town Council plenary session has unanimously approved the modification and suspension of the local holiday on March 18, the eve of Saint Joseph’s Day, due to the impossibility of celebrating the Fallas 2021 during those dates.

Therefore, March 18 will be a working day in Tavernes, and the local holiday is reserved for later with the “hope that the health situation will improve in the coming months,” they said from the local executive.

On the other hand, the School Council has approved that March 17 and 18 are school holidays in Tavernes. The holiday scheduled for March 16 is replaced by Thursday, March 18, the eve of St. Joseph.
