Godella’s summer swimming pool has opened its doors this week with the novelty that it has included an exclusive weekly day for the over-60s. These users, as the most vulnerable group in front of the Covid-19, can enjoy the facilities every Wednesday from 10:30 to 14:30.
The users of the premises you must make an appointment through the mobile applicationl with one week in advance and make the reservation of date and shift to ensure the safety distance. The ticket must be paid for by payment in cash with the exact amount at the facility’s ticket offices, and personal identification by ID will be required.

The prices of the swimming pool are 1.5 euros for those over 16 years old, and 1 euro for those under 16. Children under three years of age will enter free of charge.
For the correct fulfillment of the hygiene measures, the facility is disinfected every morning before opening and at noonFrom 14:30 to 15:30, and at the entrance hydroalcoholic gel and a carpet with disinfectant for street shoes have been made available to users.
In addition, for greater safety, the changing rooms will remain closed and the use of masks is obligatory when moving around the facility, whenever it is not possible to maintain a safe distance except in one’s own plot and in the pool vessels, and body temperature is measured at the entrancewhich must be inside at 37.5 degrees.
The Councillor for Sports, Fernando Oliveros, is happy because the facilities already have the maximum security guarantees. “In Godella we put the safety of all our neighbours first. For this reason, the opening of the summer swimming pool has been delayed because we wanted to be guaranteed that each and every one of the rules and requirements set by the Government could be complied with”, he explains.
