 Xirivella will invest more than 900,000 euros in accessibility, improved lighting and the municipal warehouse

The Xirivella Town Hall has received a total of 934,266 euros to carry out various actions under the Valencia Provincial Council Investment Plan 2020-2021, which the government team (PSPV-Podemos) has decided to invest in seven projects that will continue the commitment to energy efficiency, sustainability and accessibilityand to undertake some urgent interventions.

One of the most outstanding investments is the construction of the warehouse of the work brigade with a budget of 525,000 eurosThis will have an area of approximately 750 square meters and will cover the current needs. On the other hand, 200,000 with for the improvement of accessibility of Reyes Católicos, Lepanto, Mediterráneo, Los Angeles, Comercial and Avenida la Paz streets.

Another outstanding urban development action, which will be carried out by the Investment Plan with a budget of 108,000 euros, is the project for the modernization and renovation of the public lighting infrastructure by means of energy efficiency measures and LED technology lights on Avenida Virgen de los Desamparados, Arte Mayor de la Seda, Rio Turia and the parking lot of the old train station.

It also highlights the squares of the Petanca, Alquería Nueva and Avenida de la Constitución in front of the Alquerías Station, with an allocation of 60,000 euros, and the adequacy of social housing, which will have an amount of 50,000 euros.

They are also intended 27,317 euros to the drafting of a Municipal Urban Action Plan which will design the strategic lines of municipal actions incorporating the ODS established in the 2030 agenda.

The project to carry out repairs to the roof of the municipal building, located on the Jaume Roig crossing, to repair the damage caused by leaks on the roof of the building, completes the work. This intervention will involve an investment of 19,817 euros.
